FAQ's - Frequently Asked Questions

 

  1. Who is F.A.I.T.H. Riders?  F.A.I.T.H. Riders consist of ordinary people from every walk of life who share a common desire to serve our Lord through motorcycle ministry.
  2. What is the purpose of F.A.I.T.H. Riders?  We exist to share the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ intentionally and unapologetically to all who have yet to accept Him and to build up the body of Christ through worship, fellowship, discipleship and serving.
  3. Do you have to own or ride a motorcycle to be a part of F.A.I.T.H. Riders?  No, while most of our members do ride some choose not to and yet still serve in a great capacity and are an integral part of the ministry.
  4. How many F.A.I.T.H. Rider Chapters are there?  Currently there are 68 Chapters and 6 Affiliations in 11 different states and we're growing rapidly.  Individual chapters can be viewed through the chapter link above and will give you the most up to date information.
  5. What is required to be a member of a F.A.I.T.H. Rider Chapter?  There are no requirements.  We merely ask that you find a local church with a F.A.I.T.H. Rider Chapter and get involved.
  6. Are the F.A.I.T.H. Rider Colors trademarked and copyrighted?  Yes.
  7. Is there a membership fee?  No.
  8. What do you wear to church?  While this is an individual preference, most dress casually in jeans, vests, etc…
  9. Does it matter what kind of motorcycle I have?  While we have a great deal of fun with this one back and forth, all motorcycles and even scooters are accepted. 
  10. Are women and children welcome?  Not only welcomed, but encouraged. 
  11. Are women treated equally or are there special requirements?  Women are treated biblically.  There are no special requirements for them to be a member or wear the colors.
  12. What do I have to do to earn a patch?  F.A.I.T.H. Riders are not required to earn a patch.  We are not a club, we are a motorcycle ministry.  If you are an active participant in a F.A.I.T.H. Rider Chapter, willing to serve the Lord, your church and F.A.I.T.H. Riders Motorcycle Ministry then you are entitled to wear the patch.
  13. Is F.A.I.T.H. Riders strictly Baptist?  While the majority of our chapters are in Southern Baptist Churches, we consider other churches with a like doctrine.
  14. Does F.A.I.T.H. Riders do any events as a National Ministry?  There are both local and National events each year giving everyone the maximum opportunity to be involved.  Check the web site for both past and future events.
  15. Does F.A.I.T.H. Riders get involved in mission work?  Yes!  We have done organized mission trips, on the motorcycles, to Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida and Indiana.  Future mission trips will include Sturgis, Laconia and wherever else God leads us!
  16. How do I start a F.A.I.T.H. Rider chapter in my church?  You can begin by filling out the inquiry form on the chapter page of our website.  You will be contacted with more information after we receive the inquiry.
